Researching for online advertising gems to feature your business through an article or a backlink coming from a top ranked website in your niche or a forum is a procedure that requires a bit of searching.

When I say "a bit", I don't mean that it is a matter of ten minutes or so. In order to get results with your business via internet marketing methods you need to know what, where and how you will use each resource as well as why and when, provided that you have checked out and validated that this resource is offering real value.

It is very important to get not just any link pointing back to your website but a pretty powerful and high authority link, it is exactly what can make the difference on your behalf compared to others that use automated services for link submissions and directory submissions that do not ensure the quality of the acquired links.

Although many people make wonderful claims about how effective advertising is, the big secret of successful advertising is putting the adverts where people are prepared to read adverts.

Hello Frederic, nice to receive your comment, I wish you a very happy and positive new year and hope I will be able to post more often. You know, once you are in a business on your own that you love and you are challenged daily, sometimes you lose track of time :).

As far as new business people that are stuck between being able to advertise or not, I have one thing to say from my personal experience so far as a full time online marketing entrepreneur: One needs to spend lots of money to learn the business before they start making money online. That's a harsh truth. After at least one year or two of experience you start recognizing where the real opportunities are and if they offer real value for you to invest in. Success does not come for free. Nothing is free. It takes both investment in knowledge, time and money to be able to start making a decent income, and that is the reason why most people quit before they become successful. They are impatient and unfocused.
